There are two sturdy latches to securely close the case, with two padlock holes for added protection. Stainless steel hinge pins add strength to the case. A pressure relief valve is included for altitude changes. Additionally, a gasket seal is in place to prevent water, dust, dirt, and other debris from entering the case.
